The Boyd Golf Center will double in size and will include an additional 4,000 square feet of space.

The renovation will include an enhancement of the locker room and expansion of the team lobbies. Since the opening of the Boyd Center in 1998, both the Bulldogs (1999 and 2005) and the Lady Bulldogs (2001) have won national championships while combining for several SEC championships. The renovated facility will feature new displays and trophy cases to better showcase the history and success of UGA Golf. Once completed, these renovations will make the Boyd Golf Center one of the finest collegiate golf clubhouses in the country. The expansion will be completed in early 2018 and will cost $4.35 million. The project will be funded through a blend of Athletic Association reserves and private support.
