Capital Projects
UGA Athletics has embarked on an ambitious, multi-year capital campaign across nearly all major sports venues. With projects through 2027, the university is significantly enhancing facilities to support student‑athlete development, recruitment, fan experience, and year-round training — all underpinned by robust fundraising and donor engagement.
Current Projects
Spec Towns Track
The new 34,700 square foot Spec Towns Track facility is being constructed on South Milledge Avenue across from the current soccer/softball complex. This state-of-the-art facility will have a nine-lane, 400-meter outdoor track with an infield long jump, triple jump and pole vault facilities.
Spec Towns will have 2,500 seats with a capacity of 5,000 for select events. Completion is expected for the spring 2026 season.
