The newly constructed Football Operations Facility will serve as the daily home for our football program. This building is the lifeblood of our program and our future. Our Dawgs spend their Saturdays in Sanford Stadium each fall, however, this facility will serve our day-to-day operations and be housed in 160,000 square feet of new and renovated space. Located adjacent to our practice fields and fully integrated with the William Porter Payne and Porter Otis Payne Indoor Athletic Facility, we are creating a new standard for UGA Football.

This facility will have a transformational impact on our football student-athletes once complete. They will immediately see an increase in the level of development, instruction, and care in every facet of their daily routines. This project will encompass all areas of support for the program including a new weight room, locker room, sports medicine area, nutrition area, coaches’ offices and team meeting rooms. This project serves as an opportunity to capitalize on the momentum Coach Smart has created with our championship level program. When complete, this facility will set the standard that UGA Football is setting for all of college football.
