Men’s Basketball Fund (MBF) contributions provide essential support to areas vital to the continued operational health of UGA Athletics and the enrichment of the student-athlete experience.
Message from Head Coach Mike White
Dawg Nation,
We deeply appreciate your past support of UGA Men’s Basketball. Our coaching staff, administration, and student-athletes are truly grateful for your unwavering commitment to driving our program forward.
From the moment I took on the head coaching position, I knew the University of Georgia had a rich legacy, a formidable brand, and an unbelievable community of supporters. It is an immense privilege for me and my family to be part of this institution, and we are thrilled about the exceptional potential of our program. Exciting things are on the horizon for UGA Men’s Basketball.
Since our arrival in Athens earlier last year, my coaching staff and I have hit the ground running, establishing strong bonds with our current roster of student-athletes and actively recruiting talented young men to join our program. Our players are embracing the values we hold dear: toughness, togetherness, and accountability. We are fostering a culture that thrives on these principles every single day.
As the 2023-24 season rapidly approaches, we kindly ask you to consider contributing to the Men’s Basketball Fund (MBF) and requesting season tickets. Your support makes a significant difference in the lives of our student-athletes, and we rely on your assistance to continue providing them with an elite experience during their time at UGA and their lives beyond UGA.
Please accept our most sincere gratitude for your thoughtful consideration of support of our remarkable young men. We are profoundly grateful for all that you do to invest in our success.
Go Dawgs!
Mike White Head Men’s Basketball Coach
Private support is essential to the success of UGA student-athletes and the UGA Athletic Association (UGAAA). UGAAA receives no financial assistance from the state of Georgia. It is a self-funded entity, solely dependent upon self-generated revenues to operate and provide student-athlete scholarships, build world-class athletic facilities and ensure UGA’s tradition of athletic excellence continues to grow.
You can become a member of The Georgia Bulldog Club (TGBC) by donating a minimum of $75 to the Men’s Basketball Fund. In addition, there are also a variety of other ways to join/support UGA Athletics by making contributions to the William C. Hartman Fund, the Gymnastics Endowment Fund, the Georgia Baseball Fund, the Magill Society, the Endowment Program, and via sport specific giving opportunities.
1. Make one or several contributions to the Men’s Basketball Fund (MBF) by the September 1, 2023 deadline, ensuring you meet or exceed the giving level required for access to your desired benefits and your per-seat giving requirement of $75 per seat.*
2. Submit your season ticket application and season ticket payment by the September 1, 2023 deadline via your online account.
3. You will receive information by email after the deadline (September 1, 2023) regarding how to participate in the optional online seat selection process, which will take place in late September, along with a selection appointment time. See page 6 in the 2022 MBF brochure for more information.
*Making the per-seat minimum contribution does not guarantee that you will have the opportunity to secure seating. Determining the priority cutoff for new season ticket acquisitions is difficult to project as it based on attrition and member demand.
The best way to increase your priority point ranking is to join the Magill Society, which awards bonus priority points for commitments of $25,000 or greater that are made payable over a 5-year period of time. Increasing your support to the Men’s Basketball Fund is also a great way to increase your priority point total and improve your ranking. Lastly, referring new TGBC and/or Magill Society members is another way to help grow the base of support towards UGA Athletics while also increasing your priority point total and ranking amongst our members.

2. Submit your season ticket application and season ticket payment by the September 1, 2023 deadline via your online account. To be considered for relocation, you must select “YES” when prompted on your online season ticket application indicating whether you would like to participate in the optional online seat selection process.
3. You will receive information via email after the season ticket application deadline (September 1, 2023) regarding how to participate in the optional online seat selection process, which will take place in October, along with a selection appointment time. See page 6 in the 2022 MBF brochure for more information.
All donors opted into the process will receive a selection time based on cumulative TGBC priority points. If your selection time arrives and you see seats you want to move into, you can select them at that time and drop your previous seats. If you do not see any seats you want to move into at your selection time, you can retain your same seats from the previous year.
No! If you login during your appointment time and do not see any desirable season ticket opportunities, you can exit the process or check out and maintain your seat locations from the 2021-22 season. If you previously paid for additional season tickets and do not wish to add any of the available seats, you can either receive a refund on the cost of the season tickets or have it applied towards your Men’s Basketball Fund giving level for 2023. Donations are non-refundable.
Men’s Basketball Fund members who contribute $1,500 or more and have purchased season tickets by September 1, 2023 will have the opportunity to request one complementary parking pass. Donors may renew their existing pass by making at least a $1,500 donation to the MBF and renewing their season tickets by September 1, 2023. All new parking pass allocations, and requests to relocate will be assigned based on points and availability.
In addition to impacting lives of our remarkable student-athletes, there are many benefits associated with a contribution to the Men’s Basketball Fund.
