The Georgia Bulldog Club is the fundraising arm of the Athletic Association charged with providing student-athlete scholarships, first class facilities and the financial support necessary to run/operate each of UGA’s 21 varsity sport programs.
The Magill Society serves as the leadership fundraising entity under The Georgia Bulldog Club. This organization is philanthropic in nature with its members invested in the success of Georgia Athletics.
The Butts-Mehre Expansion will add 165,000 square feet of new and improved space that will include a much larger operating area for the Bulldogs’ football program.
The Magill Tennis Complex will add a 6-court, state of the art indoor tennis facility in place of the current 4-court one.
The new Equestrian Clubhouse will contain a locker room, meeting room, coaches’ office suite, sports medicine room, kitchenette, and a laundry room.
The $63 million project, funded largely by donor support, covers 120,000 total square feet of new and updated space includes a new locker room, hospitality lounge, larger video board and new upper and lower plazas for fans.
The Boyd Golf Center doubled in size including an additional 4,000 square feet of space, featuring new displays and trophy cases to better showcase the history and success of UGA Golf.
This renovation project replaced the grandstand and press box making the Turner Soccer Complex one of the finest soccer facilities in the nation.
The “House of Payne”, completely funded by our generous Magill Society donors, can be utilized by the football team for practices, walkthroughs and conditioning work and is also used by other sports in need of indoor space.
